You may remember in the posting of Veranda..A State of Mind, we made mention of sitting on the front ramp and watching the world go by.  Little did we know that on one particular night, the world would not only go by, but would take a detour across our lawn.

Seems a local citizen had allegedly "borrowed" a relatives car.  The relative called the sheriff to tell them of this allegedly unauthorized borrowing.  While the sheriff was at the complainant's home, who decided to show up?  You guessed it.

The sheriff watched as the events unfolded right before their eyes.  As you can tell by the pictures, the turn appeared to be wide and possibly a little fast.

Please also remember that all suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
